Our Grants Program
The vision of the Hobsons Bay Community Fund is to benefit and strengthen the community of Hobsons Bay for present and future generations.
The Community Fund’s Committee works with key local stakeholders to ensure our priorities are aligned with the existing and emerging needs of the local community.
Our focus with the annual HBCF Community grants program is to fund activities that help make our local community fair, inclusive and vibrant.
2026 Grants Program
Thank you to all the local community groups who took the time to share their ideas and applications with us for the 2026 Grant Program.
Following a strong response in Round One, we have now fully allocated this year's available funding to a wonderful range of community-led projects across Hobsons Bay.
As a result, we will not be holding a second grant round in 2026.
We are committed to supporting the vital work happening across Hobsons Bay and look forward to continuing to support local community groups in 2027.

Keeping in Touch
Congratulations on your grant and welcome to the Hobsons Bay Community Fund grants community!
When a group receives a grant from the Community Fund it joins hundreds of other groups that are making a difference in the Hobsons Bay community. Please use the resources below to acknowledge and promote your grant, and keep us up to date on your work.
Sharing your stories
Remember to share your project or program stories with us along the way. There are several ways to keep in touch with us, let us know what you’re doing, and find out what is happening at the Community Fund.

Follow our social media pages and tag us when you post about your project. We will also include reminders about upcoming grant opportunities, special events and other news from the Fund and our grant recipients.
Community Fund Newsletter
Grant recipients are automatically subscribed to our regular Newsletter. The newsletter provides important news, grant updates and special interest stories. Please contact us if you have a story about your grant and the wonderful work you do in the Hobsons Bay community for us to share in the eNewsletter.
Grant reporting and acquittal
Acquittal
Organisations that receive a grant from the Hobsons Bay Community Fund are required to provide an acquittal report at the end of the project on how the funding was used and the outcomes achieved.

Completing the Grant Acquittal report
The grant acquittal report helps the Community Fund understand the impact of funded projects and share stories about the important work being done across the Hobsons Bay community. The report includes questions about:
the activities delivered through the project
the outcomes and impact of the grant
how the grant funds were spent
photos and stories that help illustrate the project
We encourage organisations to share examples, reflections and photos where possible, as these help us celebrate and promote the work of local community organisations.
Completing the acquittal form
Complete the report through a short online Google Form. You do not need a Google email address to complete the form.
However, if you are signed into a Google account, your progress can be saved automatically so you can return to the form later.
