In 2022, the Hobsons Bay Community Fund provided $41,519.00 to 12 community projects across Hobsons Bay, under the Fair, Inclusive and Vibrant grant categories. 

HBCF has enabled projects focused on the arts, physical/mental health and wellbeing, positive ageing, access to food and housing security and environmental sustainability.


Footscape Incorporated - Community Support Grant of $1,000

Sacred Heart Primary School - Impact Grant of $5,000

Reading Out of Poverty Incorporated - Community Support Grant of $5,000

Grant to provide 500 literacy starter kits to children aged 0 - 5 years from disadvantaged communities within Hobsons Bay. This included two pop-up libraries in local laundromats. Click here to find out more about the group.


Hobsons Bay Men’s Shed Restoration Group - Community Support Grant of $2,020

TreeHaus Williamstown - Community Grant of $2,000

Laverton Youth Foundation - Community Support Grant of $3,000

Grant to deliver a program aimed at newly arrived/refugee young people in partnership with MiCare Settlement Service. The program will provide free 8-week cooking programs aimed at reducing isolation and building transferrable skills. Click here to find out more about the Centre.


Laverton Community Centre - Community Support Grant of $2,829.10
